Road Trip Time
The day is finally here. Thursday morning at 6:30 am we had the car loaded and the three of us including Mike were off. Dog sitter had arrived and we were off to our first stop at the Shawsheen diner for breakfast and lots of coffee.
Our next stop was Button’s burgers, the best burgers on the interstate, or so the sign said. In this case the advertising was totally true. Home made chips and giant burgers were eaten by all of us. Only one person finished, I wonder who.
We stopped in Hershey PA for our first night. Of course we played tourist, oh, we are tourists. We went to the factory and did the Disney like tour. We ate our free chocolate and headed downtown for a walk. We were disappointed in the down town and got in the car to explore a bit more. We found an outlet mall and all picked one store we would visit. But first it was time to go to the Troegs brewery for beer. I had a flight of three cute little glasses. We went back to the hotel for drinks and snacks. We picked up sandwiches at Subways. I think we were exhausted.
After a nice tuna sub with some single malt I was ready for bed.
