Hello New York
Yesterday, we left Martin and our wonderful house with our house sitter and headed to the Big Apple. We took two busses and transferred in Boston’s South Station. We took the Bolt Bus from South Station to New York for a whopping $26 round trip. The bus is fine and even has internet. This is a great way to save your money for all the fun stuff in the city.
This is our 4th trip doing the time share thing where you just have to remember to keep saying no.
We are not in the hotel this time but in the actual time share building where we could actually come every year for a week for a not so small fortune. Instead we just keep coming for very little money and keep saying no.
Our friend Dianne helps us plan our New York trips and we love everything she plans and sharing it with her.
We had dinner at a Turkish restaurant called Pasha and it was amazing. We topped it off with Turkish coffee and it did a great job of keeping me awake.
Then we walked to Lincoln Center by way of the DE coda. Although most people think of this as the building where John Lennon died, I think of it as the time portal in Time And Again. A sweet lady explained that the building was so far west when it was built that they called in the DE coda.
At Lincoln Center we saw the Play Anne. All I can say is wow. Holland Taylor performed this one woman show. She also wrote it. It is the story of An Richards. They closed the show with the song Imagine. Aren’t we glad we saw the DE coda?
We walked back to our digs and I read a while until my coffee wore off.
Now it is Saturday morning and we are off for another action packed day.
Today is the day we have to keep saying no.
