North East AER and More
Neal and I just returned from North East Aer and evicted our house sitter for a few hours while we repack for our vacation in Mexico. Talk about experiencing 2 extremes in a very short time!
AER was in the Mt Washington Hotel, a place I have always wanted to go. It completely lived up to all my expectations.
I spent the exhibit day in the New England Low Vision and Blindness booth. Scott really went all out with new brochures, back drop, and business cards and lovely logo shirts. I really mean that about the shirts and I am not a big fan of logo clothing.
I think my favorite thing in the exhibit hall was watching Dina from the Carroll Center make jewelry to sell. They are carrying a lovely line of beaded jewelry that includes braille beads along with lots of other interesting charms and beads.
The food was wonderful and it was fun to see all my old friends. I think I have been doing this show for over 20 years. What a great field I am in and New England is such a perfect place to live.
Now we are in packing frenzy and trying to remember all the things that need to be done. The plants are watered, business voicemail changed, my packing is done, and now maybe I can even get a nap.
I will blog from Mexico but I am not sure of my internet connection so it will be a mystery when I actually post.
