Saturday morning in NY
Breakfast at the Carnegie Deli, right in our neighborhood. We shared a lox and bagels plate with an extra bagel. This was suggested by our expert tour guide Dianne. It was certainly plenty of food and really yummy.
Here is an interesting thing about the area directly surrounding Carnegie Hall. On the one block there are 4 piano stores. Now, I think of pianos kind of like fruit cakes. Aren’t there just a few that keep getting passed around? I mean really, pianos don’t die, they can last for centuries. Do people really buy new ones?
We had the time share torture and did manage to say no. We also managed a free lunch.
In a few minutes we are off to the White Horse Tavern to start our Literary Pub Crawl.
Life is good.
