Wednesday in Florence
The time is going by too fast.
We started our day with coffee and tea in the room and then found a place to get a little something to eat. We stood up at a coffee bar.
Next we headed to the pufizzi gallery. We used our magic system to not stand in line. They are very considerate of people who are blind. My favorite painting is the Birth Of Venus. They had a tactile model that was fun to feel.
We did not use the Rik Steves tour and I am sorry we did not.
Then we headed across the bridge and had lunch at the same place we ate the day before although this time we ate outside.
Next it was on to the Pitti Palace. Again they had some things set up for a blind person to touch. This was mostly rooms set up like they were hundreds of years ago. We made our way out to the Boboli Garden but we were all getting pretty tired by this time and everything seemed to be uphill. There were not many flowers just a lot of bushes. We gave up and headed for home back across the bridge.
It was nap time.
After our nap we took a walk and I bought a wonderful purse. I have looked at a lot of purses and I think this one is perfect. Now I am finished shopping.
Then we went to our local restaurant for dinner. I had pasta with wild boar. We love our restaurant.
I think, once again, it was midnight before we fell into bed.
